Van Gogh Sunflower bracelet

     This bracelet was adapted from a detail of Vincent Van Gogh (Dutch, 1853-1890) “Sunflower” paintings (original on left), which have been duplicated many times by various artists (although never reaching the vivacity and intensity of Van Gogh's).
     The Sunflower symbolizes adoration, affection, constancy, gratitude and glory, and the solar wheel. It is a Christian symbol of religious obedience, as all day it faces the sun (Christ).
     Enameled 24K gold-plate over pewter. The bracelet measures approximately 7.25" long.
