Tsarina Cypher pin/pendant

The elaborately entwined Cypher of the last Tsarina, Alexandra Feodorovina (original image on left), appears on the presentation case for Faberge’s celebrated Lilies-of-the-Valley Basket presented to the Tsarina in 1896. The Cypher is encircled by the coveted Order of St. Andrew, One of Imperial Russia’s highest honors, and is surmounted by the Imperial Crown of Russia. The Matilda Geddings Gray Foundation collection Extended Loan to the New Orleans Museum of Art.

Enameled 24k gold over pewter. 18” Chain.
