"Swan Lake" brooch

Since its premiere at the Bolshoi Theater in 1877, Tchaikovsky's lush score for the tender tale of the enchanted Swan Princess Odette and her ill-fated love for Prince Siegfried has continuously delighted audience and has won a place in the repertory of every classical dance company.

This brooch captures Odette in one of her graceful postures from the dance of the dying swan in the ballet's final scene. Inspired by the original image on left.

24K antique gold-plate over pewter, enhanced by a rhinestone. Measures approximately 1.5" x 1.5".
