Monet's Palm Tree brooch

This palm tree pin is an adaptation from a series of paintings by Claude Monet representing the magnificent Moreno gardens in Bordighera, Italy. Original image on left.
      The palm tree was the emblem of Bordighera. Monet vividly captured the palm tree’s wild fishbone structure and effusion of colors.
      Enameled 24 Karat gold-plate over pewter. Measures approximately 1.7" x 1.8".
