Lotus blossom clip earrings

     The lotus blossom jewelry was inspired by the cavetto decorating a large ceramic plate. The cobalt and black underglazed dish is representative of the fine wares produced in Kerman and Mahsad. Iran, 17th century A.D. From the treasures of Dar al-Athar al-Islamiyyah, Kuwait National Museum.
