Our 3-Dimension earrings were an adaptation of Persian earrings. The Peacock motif and the triangular granulations were the type of design which was originated by the Sassanians, and was found in tombs over 1,200 years ago.
The Peacock is a symbol associated with royalty. It signifies resurrection and immortality.
24K gold plate over pewter. Gold-filled ear wires. Measures approximately 0.9" x 0.65".
