Greek Pomegranate earrings
     The earrings are inspired by the Greek necklace (shown above), in the form of pomegranates, which were symbols of fertility.
      Probably from the Greek coast of Asia Minor or from Lydia. 6th century B.C.
      24 Karat gold-plate over pewter, enhanced by Carnelian bead. Gold-filled ear-wires.
Earrings measure approximately 0.4" x 1.25".
