This is a reproduction of an Egyptian necklace, enhanced by lapis, aventurine and Carnelian beads, with cartouche center.
From the tomb of Ramses second. New Empire of Egypt, 19th Dynasty. It reads: “Ra messu meri Amen”, meaning: Pharaoh Ramses beloved by the god Amen.
Gold-filled beads. Cartouche center is in 24k gold-plate over pewter. Measures approximately 16” (40cm) long.
